We're very pleased to report that yesterday, Circle received notification of our ISO 27001 accreditation. We've been working towards this over the past year to ensure compliancy with the new GDPR regulations in everything we do.
This accreditation means that Circle is now officially recognised as following international information security best practice. It's a fantastic step forwards for Circle and all of our clients, and means that we are in a much stronger position as the GDPR comes into effect on 25th May 2018.
The auditor told us that she was particularly impressed with senior management's engagement with this work, and with the consistency and cogency of our staff's responses to her questions. She also commented how generally engaged Circle staff seemed to be with information security policies and processes. So all in all, a great result!
We'd like to congratulate the entire Circle team on this outcome. Every member of staff has actively engaged with this project, and worked really hard over the past year to ensure yesterday's successful accreditation.
